During the tour you will get acquainted with the main monuments of history and architecture of Kiev, such as St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery, the Golden Gate of Kyiv, Bohdan Khmelnytsky Monument and many other.

Now we are going to visit a cave monastery Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra (2 hours tour).

Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra is an outstanding monument of Christianity, which history is an amazing interweaving of destinies and dramatic events. A visit to the Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra is the main event of any tour of Kiev. Every year, a huge number of pilgrims and tourists visit the holy monastery.

Podil, open air museum Pyrohiv and Mezhyhirya Residence

We would like to invite you to "The old streets of Podil" - a walking tour in the narrow streets with low charming buildings, mysterious romantic courtyards, temples of different eras and religions - these are the features of this wonderful district of Kyiv. Walking down the Andriyivskyy Descent and enjoying our Kyiv's "Montmartre", you will be able not only to buy souvenirs, but also enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the numerous cafes of Podil. From the high viewpoint, we will see a wonderful cityscape, we will approach to the house of Mikhail Bulgakov, visit the Ascension Florovsky Convent, see more than 100 years old Kyiv Funicular on Poshtova Square: an unusual railway system that goes through a steep hill and picturesque views of the Dnieper and connects Podil with Mykhailivska Square.

Now we are going to have an excursion to the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine. This is a walking tour on the territory of the open-air museum, where you will be able to see old Ukrainian churches and huts, colorful courtyards and real "shynok" (a kind of authentic Ukrainian tavern), the house of a priest and picturesque mills.

As an alternative, you can visit the Mezhyhirya Residence (the residence of the former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych). During the tour you will be impressed by the large-scale territory of the well-groomed reserve. Everywhere there are fabulous lawns and beautiful flower beds full of plants and flowers. We will meet amazing clean ponds with fountains and small oases with different compositions.

We are ready to return to Kyiv.
