Uzhhorod and relax bathes in vats with mineral water

Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant.
We are going to visit Uzhhorod. Uzhhorod is a "Window to Europe": it is widely regarded as one of the most important Ukrainian and European historical centers. Throughout its more than a thousand-year history, Uzhgorod changed hands repeatedly. The architectural appearance of the city has been particularly affected by the almost six-hundred-years presence of Hungarians: many streets of Uzhgorod are very similar to the neighborhoods of the Hungarian cities Debrecen or Budapest, such as picturesque two or three storey houses, that have preserved medieval ornamentation on their walls. On our way from Uzhgorod we will stop at the humorous korchma "Detsa u Notaria". This is a tavern and a museum, the concept of which is based on the vivid folk humor of Transcarpathia. Its name is translated as "A shot at the Notary" or "A 100 grams of vodka at the Notary". The visit will turn into a funny tour. There will be a lot of reasons for laughing out loud: funny signs and advertisements around the entrance and a menu with the use of local dialect.
Transfer to the village of Lumshory, relax bathes in vats with mineral water. Heated water tanks, with water from a hydrogen sulfide mineral spring, started to be used for medical procedures back in the 17th century. One of the old cast iron vats is now in Austria, and the other one is always ready for our guests! The vat is filled with cold mineral water, river stones are laid on the bottom, then the water is gradually heated on an open fire. When the temperature reaches 30 degrees, you can start taking a bath, alternating immersion in hot water with cooling in a cold waters of the mountain river.
Return to the hotel in Mukachevo. Have a rest and a good night.

The castle of the Counts Schönborn is a very beautiful piece of architecture and can tell us lots of stories about its buildings. Compared to others, Schönborn Castle is a kind of piece of art of the time, when it was built. A wonderful landscape, which is unusual and beautiful at the same time, a castle built by a talented architect and, of course, an interesting story, all of them create a specific mysterious atmosphere during the tour.

You will see Lviv City Hall and Italian courtyard (a unique three-tiered Renaissance archway and loggia, which is the only one in Ukraine and the main attraction of the square), the Latin Cathedral and the Boim Chapel – the burial-vault of wealthy citizens. The Armenian cathedral and courtyard are unique corner of the eastern architecture in Lviv.
