The guided tour to Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra (duration 2 hours).

Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra is an outstanding monument of Christianity, which history is an amazing interweaving of destinies and dramatic events. A visit to the Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra is the main event of any tour of Kiev. Every year, a huge number of pilgrims and tourists visit the holy monastery.

Lunch in a city café (self-catering during your free time).

Optionally, you can visit Pinchuk Art Center: an international center for contemporary art. The other option is the Museum of Ukrainian Nation Formation - this is the first innovative museum of history in Ukraine, where the past is combined with modern technologies. This is a modern museum in which the famous pages of our state come to life. You will be able to get acquainted with the centuries-old history of the Ukrainian nation. You will go through 25 expositions and see stories with absolutely realistic 3D models of outstanding figures: kings and hetmans, military and scientists, artists and athletes.

Moving to Kozelets Urban Village. A tour to the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin.

This is one of the most famous buildings of the Chernihiv region. The cathedral and the bell tower were built at the expense of Natalia Razumykha - mother of Oleksiy and Kyrylo Rozumovskys - in gratitude to God for the happy fate of her sons. In this cathedral, the wooden iconostasis, designed by the famous St. Petersburg court architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli, luckily survived up to modern time.

Moving to Chernihiv.

We will have a tour in the old town: you will see the ancient Val, Mazepa's house, Transfiguration and Saints Borys and Hlib Cathedrals, the Saint Trinity Monastery, Chernihiv Collegium, the Monument to Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, St. Paraskeva Church, the Boldina mountains, Anthony's Caves, mound "Hulbyshche" and Trinity Monastery.

At the end of the day, we suggest you to visit the Chernihiv brewery. During the tour, you will learn the history of the brewery, visit the production facilities, watch at the production process of beer, beginning with selection of ingredients till the bottling line. And, of course, you will try different types of beer!

We are ready to return to Kyiv.
