Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra is an outstanding monument of Christianity, which history is an amazing interweaving of destinies and dramatic events. A visit to the Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra is the main event of any tour of Kiev. Every year, a huge number of pilgrims and tourists visit the holy monastery.
You are invited to visit the greatest monument of Slavic and World culture, history, architecture and art - Saint Sophia's Cathedral. It was built back in the 11th century, it has always fascinated people as an outstanding architectural monument and an unrivaled work of art, as one of the greatest temples of world civilization. As far back as the 9th century, Metropolitan Hilarion of Kyiv said: "The Church is wonderful and glorious to all the surrounding countries ...". This monument of architecture is so significant that it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In 2011 the Cathedral celebrated a 1000 years since the foundation.

Kyiv museums and the Mezhyhirya Residence

You are welcome to the tour "The architectural masterpieces of Pechersk District": you will see Gingerbread and Chocolate Houses, the Arab House, the Pink Castle and the House of the Weeping Widow. We will also meet the House with Chimaeras, the building of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Institute for Noble Maidens, the Klov Palace and Mariyinskyi Palace.
Optionally, you can visit Pinchuk Art Center: an international center for contemporary art. The other option is the Museum of Ukrainian Nation Formation - this is the first innovative museum of history in Ukraine, where the past is combined with modern technologies. This is a modern museum in which the famous pages of our state come to life. You will be able to get acquainted with the centuries-old history of the Ukrainian nation. You will go through 25 expositions and see stories with absolutely realistic 3D models of prominent people: kings and hetmans, military and scientists, artists and athletes.
Now we are going to have an excursion to the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine. This is a walking tour on the territory of the open-air museum, where you will be able to see old Ukrainian churches and huts, colorful courtyards and real "shynok" (a kind of authentic Ukrainian tavern), the house of a priest and picturesque mills.
As an alternative, you can visit the Mezhyhirya Residence (the residence of the former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych). During the tour you will be impressed by the large-scale territory of the well-groomed reserve. Everywhere there are fabulous lawns and beautiful flower beds full of plants and flowers. We will meet amazing clean ponds with fountains and small oases with different compositions.
We are ready to return to Kyiv.

Early arrival in Lviv. Meet-and-greet at the railway station.

A sightseeing hop on hop off city tour with three stops. We will see the most of the objects from the bus, and we will make three stops in the three most interesting corners of the city. During 3 hours you will dive into a fascinating journey of old and modern Lviv: you will see cityscape from the highest peak - Lviv High Castle, drive through one of the oldest districts of our city - Lychakivskyi, follow the paths of the Lychakivskyi necropolis, examine the baroque architectural monument of the middle of the 18th century St. George's Cathedral, you will see the buildings of the largest and oldest Lviv universities - Lviv Polytechnic and Lviv University.
A walking tour in the city. The ancient city center and its soul are Rynok Square (Market Square) and the City Hall; to the side, surrounded by the chapels of Campians and Boims, there is a central Catholic church - the Latin Cathedral. A charming Armenian church is hidden in the Armenian quarter, a whole ensemble of the Assumption Church is in Ruthenian quarter, and the Jesuit Church rises above the avenue. The Jewish quarter hides the stories of its early residents and the remains of the synagogue, and many houses and defense walls remain silent about the old secrets…
A walk in the medieval city includes visiting Rynok Square, the Dominican and Jesuit Monasteries, the Assumption Church, the charming courtyards and streets of national quarters (Ruthenian, Jewish and Armenian) and defense structures (city and royal arsenals), which retain the greatness of Lviv Fortress, the history of lifestyle of that time and the names of famous personalities. Enjoy the architectural treasures that are part of the UNESCO heritage.
